Contact UsSite Logistics
Every Ener.co® project works the same way and is based on years of experience working on air conditioning units. The Enercoat® Treatment Service begins with a site survey to review the condition, age, size, operation and logistics of the A/C units in a specific location. We then use our Energy Savings Projection Model to determine the possible savings to be gained by applying the Enercoat® Treatment Service, a non-invasive, environmentally safe process that is scheduled at the client’s convenience.
There are four critical steps:
- Performance Baseline
Ener.co installs sensors to monitor electrical consumption and cooling output of an air conditioner. Real-time data is uploaded to the Cloud in order to establish baseline efficiency.
- Surface Preparation
Our field team experienced in deep cleaning, corrosion removal, and realignment techniques will prep the coil for the coating application.
- Enercoat Application
Coils are sprayed with a 1-2 mil layer of Enercoat, preventing corrosion and enhancing heat transfer.
- Data Review
Pre- and post-treatment data is analyzed to document efficiency improvement and can be made available to the client in the customized, Cloud-based Energy Performance Dashboard, which tracks peak demand reduction, kWh savings, and cooling performance to provide a complete and ongoing assessment of the Ener.co impact.

Energy Savings Projection Model
Ener.co developed its Energy Savings Projection Model as a tool to determine the efficiencies from by treating the coils. The model itself is conservative by design and is based on years of work on A/C units of all types and sizes. The examples below show predicted performance improvements alongside the actual reductions found in energy use and the savings these reductions represent.
